On behalf of ESAMI Business School (EBS), I am so pleased to welcome you to this course on Business Law and Company Law.
As students, you are a most important part of our community of scholars, and we value your contributions and participation. You are our partners in advancing ESAMI’s stature as one of the world’s business school. As some of you may be know, in 2013, EBS was voted as one of the most popular business schools in Africa. Most of our former students are tops executives in both private and public sectors and others have made a leap in academia.
As returning students, you already know, that learning at EBS extends far beyond our classrooms and libraries. We also learn a great deal from each other. We encourage you, our students to be full participants in the free and open exchange of ideas and viewpoints that characterizes our Business School. We commit ourselves to upholding the values we cherish as an academic institution, and to fostering an atmosphere that is respectful, supportive, and welcoming to all. The diversity of our backgrounds, talents, and perspectives will continue to enrich us all as we live and learn together.
As part of this course on Business Law and Company Law, there are countless ways that you will interact with your lecturer and with each other. Through the ESAMI Virtual Platform, you will have advance access to course materials, sessions guiding questions and forums for class discussions. In addition, you will have interactive class sessions with your lecturer both on video and non-video forums. Towards the end of the week that this this course will be offered, you will all be called upon to evaluate how the course was organized and how the lecturer conducted this course.
